IAFC / CSU Company Officer I Certification Sessions to be Offered at MWC 2025

The NCAFC will be hosting the onsite delivery of educational sessions eligible for the IAFC/CSU Officer Development Program (ODP) at the 2025 Mid-Winter Conference. This is part of the Leadership Development Certification Series for Company Officer entitled Company Officer I.


This series of sessions offers a valuable opportunity for fire service professionals to enhance their leadership skills while earning college credits. The MWC educational sessions required are listed below and are also listed on the online conference schedule with the prefix "ODP". All titled sessions must be completed in there entirety to be eligible for this certification. Please note that some sessions are offered at multiple times, so please check the online conference schedule to plan your attendance. In addition to these MWC sessions, two additional modules are required to be completed online, along with a final exam (multiple choice/unlimited attempts). To participate in this exciting new offering,

  4. Prevention & Screening: What the Fire Service Needs to Know About Their Health In 2025

  5. Firefighter Retention Promoting Recruitment
