Chief Brian C. Causey

Chief Causey began his fire service career in 1990 as a volunteer firefighter and became a career firefighter in 1994. He is the Fire Chief for the City of Randleman. He previously worked for the Guil-Rand Fire Department as the Asst. Chief of Operations and Fire Investigator as well as Franklinville Fire and Rescue as the Deputy Fire Chief. He received an Associate’s degree in Fire Protection Technology. Brian has worked in multiple roles in the fire service including Randolph Community College Director of Emergency Training. He has achieved multiple state and federal certifications in the areas of Fire, Rescue, Fire Inspections, Fire Investigation and Emergency Management.
Chief Causey has served on many fire service, civic boards, and committees including; Hospice of Randolph County; President of the Randleman High School Boosters Club; Guilford County Fire and Rescue Council; United Way of Greater High Point; NC International Association of Arson Investigators; NC Community College State Fire and Rescue Advisory Council; Randolph Community College Advisory Council; Randolph County Safe Kid; and Fire Safety for Kids Inc. of Randolph County.
Brian currently serves as the Past-President of the Piedmont NC Firefighters Association.
