Rostering for Tropical Storm Helene



NC Emergency Management, the NC Office of State Fire Marshal, and the NC Association of Fire Chiefs is issuing the following notice that we are implementing the state fire resource rostering system beginning today due to Helene. Currently, we do not have a definitive timeline for possible deployment and this is not a deployment order. The rostering program through OSFM will allow departments to identify available resources if a need for deployment arises, where OSFM will contact the department with further information. It is imperative that your local Fire Marshal and Emergency Management Coordinator are notified that you are rostering prior to beginning the rostering process. The rostering system will also send an e-mail to those individuals in your county to alert them that you are rostered.


The roster process does not guarantee deployment and no reimbursement will start until the department receives a mission number and instructions. It is vital that the department Read All Related Documents prior to rostering apparatus or personnel. If your area is affected by the storm, your department will not be requested for deployment and you may opt out at any time. Click the button below for rostering.
